How to use it

Apply generously fifteen minutes before sun exposure, about two finger-lengths of gel for face and neck. Reapply every two to three hours, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Who this is not for

Under some silicone-heavy primers it pills. If you wear one daily, apply the primer over it rather than under, or this is not the right sunscreen for you.

Questions

Where is the batch code on my tube?

It is stamped near the crimp at the bottom of the tube, next to the manufacture and expiry dates.

Why does the site show a measured SPF that differs from the pack?

The pack carries the claimed value, which is a label category. The site carries the measured value from the in-vivo test on that specific batch. Both are true. The measured one is the one you can check.

What does in vivo mean?

The test is run on human skin under controlled UV exposure, to ISO 24444. It is more expensive and slower than the in-vitro alternative, and it is the method the Indian standard IS 17494:2025 adopts.

Does it leave a white cast?

Not on the skin tones we have tested it on. A sealed cosmetic is not returnable once opened, so if you are unsure, order a single tube first.

Can I use it under makeup?

Yes. Let it settle for a couple of minutes first. Under some silicone-heavy primers it can pill. If that happens, apply the primer over it rather than under.
